A George III 'D end' Mahogany Dining Table
A lovely, original well patinated Georgian mahogany extending antique dining table. With Two 'D ends,'with one 'D end' having two extending gatelegs allowing either a single or double leaf to be well supported, or if desired allowing the antique table to have both leaves removed and join the two ends together.
The leaves are connected together very easily with the original D shaped brass table clips (x6) and steel fasteners which are inserted and locked into place on the underside of the 'D ends'. If storage is also at a premium the 'D ends' can also be used as matching hall tables when not in use.

Made from solid mahogany, the antique dining table leaves are original to the dining table and have a lovely mellow matching colour. The antique dining table top is further decorated with a fine reeded edge which leads down to the arched mahogany apron. The slender well proportioned legs also feature the reeded edge theme with matching ring turning. Standing on original brass wheeled cup castors.

Dimensions :
Height 28
Width 44
Depth 82.5 Inches

25 inch clearance from under the apron on the D ends

This antique dining table has its original finish and has not been "polished" by us or by others in its past. There are the expected signs of centuries of use and the waxed finish has small scratches and plate marks as to be expected. We do not intend to touch the antique dining table finish unless the new owner requests it, in which case we will carefully clean and revive the waxy finish to give a more even patina. (additional cost £280.00) The legs are all original and have no signs of previous breaks. The table is currently on display in our showroom.

This item is an antique dining table and character marks can be seen due to the age. Items are purchased as seen on the photographs.
