Antique Regency Pair Burr Yew Tea Caddies c1820
A beautiful antique pair matched of burr yew sarcophagus shaped tea caddies with boxwood inlay, bone handles and escutcheons. The lid opens to reveal the equally matched two divided sections each with its own fine burr yew and boxwood decorated lids. The interior shows evidence of once being lead foil lined. Now the aged and patinated softwood carcasse can be seen. Standing on brass hairy feet with brass basket plate ring pull handles.

Having studied these caddies with a careful eye we believe the feet and handles to be not original but non the less correct for the period and these caddies. In excellent all round good condition.

WWI Bronze Trench Club
A WW I Trench Club unusually fitted with a solid bronze head and a walnut handle. Used in the trenches of Northern Europe for night raiding the enemy, fashioned weapons similar to this would be used as a silent instrument attack by both sides.

This particular trench club has a considerable amount of wear to one side of the bronze face. We can only summize that it may have been carried in such a position to cause this or its continual extraction for use from where it was stored. Either way a very heavy and impressive weapon which you only need to hold once to understand the damage it could effect.

Length 23.5 Inches
Weight 1.8 kg

Unusual Antique William IV Rosewood Jardiniere c1830
This rather fine Antique William IV Rosewood Jardiniere or Plant Stand unusually features a decorative brass circular rail around its perimeter attached to its circular top. This leads to a the turned central column featuring typical William IV decoration. The well proportioned Trefoil base again leads to turned and carved legs, very distinctive to this attractive period in history. The Rosewood is very well figured throughout.

This woodwork and finish of this piece are in superb condition and have a traditional wax finish. The brass rail is original although it exhibits some signs of previous repair work and is slightly off centre, although this does not detract from the obvious appeal of this fine piece.
