| Antique Inlaid Ladies Writing Table |
A very desirable Edwardian inlaid 3 drawer desk. In perfect condition. With fine satinwood and ebony stringing, combined with mahogany crossbanding. The satinwood stringing is not only applied to the top but continued all around the frieze and on the tapering legs.
The drawers are lined with mahogany and retain the orignal working solid brass locks. The drawer faces are nicely detailed with a satinwood fan inlay to each corner.
In superb all round condition. There are signs that the handles have been changed over the years but the solid brass handles which are on it now are correct for the desk and date from the same period.
We have carefully revived the polish on this desk and wax finished it allowing all the detailed inlay work to be seen once again.
Comprehensive delivery throughout the UK.
