A lovely '8 Day' mahogany long-case Clock dated around 1835. With a decorated break arch dial and subsidiary seconds below the 12 and a Calender Lunette above 6.
The movement has been completely restored by Simon Coulton Clocks, based in South Devon.
The case has also been completely restored and re-polished with a wax finish to show off the flame mahogany at its best.
Currently in our showroom we do not anticipate it to be there for long as we have this clock at a very, very good price.

Original Antique Double Faced Post Office Clock Circa 1884
A wonderful, original, mahogany cased double faced post office clock. (It is technically called a timepiece as it has no striking bell) Made by Gillett & Co between 1884 & 1887.
The single fusee numbered movement has been professionally restored by Simon Coulton of South Brent. We have spoken directly to Gillett & Johnston regarding this clock and from our discssions we believe it to be a post office clock as opposed to a railway clock which would have the station name written on the dial. With working locks to the single opening glass door and pedulum access door.
