| Set of Seven Antique Georgian Hepplewhite Dining Chairs Circa 1790 |
A superb set of Hepplewhite design dining chairs. Dating from the late Georgian period and made from solid mahogany with open pierced spindles, finishing with carved flared capitals.
There are period signs of wear to to the cross stretchers and square tapering legs which you would expect to see on chairs of this date Along with good quality dark mahogany timber which was selected at this time.
The carver interestingly has a small but noticeable wear area on the left hand arm which we think is a wedding ring mark from the head of the household.

In excellent solid condition there are a few signs of repair on two of the chairs but all in all in superb condition.

| Metamorphic Prayer Chair (Prie Dieu) |
A beautiful and very unusual French Walnut metamorphic prayer chair (Prie Dieu). We had the original finish professionally cleaned, revived and waxed. We have also recovered the original upholstery with this stunning gold fabric which in our opinion presents the chair at its best.
One single movement converts the chair into a kneeling prayer chair. All the joints are secure, still retaining the original forged metal brackets on the two single moving joints.

| Original Victorian Antique Walnut Arm Chair c1890 |
This high serpentine back antique chair is a truly beautiful and original piece. It features lovely shaped scroll end arms over unusual turned and shaped legs. Furthermore it has a wonderfully shaped cross stretcher featuring a finial to the centre. The woodwork is walnut and has good colour and patination commensurate with its age and use. A lovely antique chair.

| A Pair of Regency, Late George III Childrens Correction (Deportment) Chairs |
An unusual and delightful pair of Late Georgian Deportment Chairs, made from solid mahogany with a lovely patina.
Normally this type is found singly, dating many decades later with a caned seat.
The original Georgian 'Naughty Chair'. Children were made to sit on this type of chair to correct bad posture. They were also used in Nurseries as a form of punishment. The child would have to sit on them with a very straight back otherwise they would fall off the seat. Now they would look fantastic with two nice Teddy Bears or if you have very naughty twins!

A traditionally reupholstered Antique Edwardian Open Arm Chair constructed with English Walnut. This luxurious heavy duty Italian designed fabric costs in excess of £120.00 per metre and is finished with complementing gold braid to edges. The traditional upholstery includes a full coil sprung seat with stitched rolled front edge further enhancing the serpentine face of this chair. The Chair itself is solidly constructed in walnut and features a relief carved pediment to rear with pierced fretwork galleried arms and turned legs.
