A fine example of a Georgian Card or Games Table. This piece features a beautiful rosewood inlay and satinwood stringing around its D shaped perimeter further highlighting the highly attractive mahogany veneered top. The top opens to reveal the green baize interior lining. The freeze and the square tapering continue to emphasise the quality of this table by being further enhanced with fine ebony stringing.

This piece is in excellent condition. The baize which has at some point been replaced in its history is in good general condition. The knuckle joints on the gate legs are in good working solid order. The piece has been sympathetically cleaned and traditionally wax polished in our workshops. |
